Hot Stone Massage

Certificate Course in Hot Stone Massage

This two day course for qualified Massage Therapists is designed to provide the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to effectively and safely administer massage treatments enhanced with the amazing benefits of hot basalt stones.

Once they have mastered the basics of using these stones, the practical skills come quite naturally to the experienced massage therapist as they are able to integrate them into their normal massage routine - as it is not necessary to learn a new routine to be able to carry out a Hot Stone Massage, the student just needs to learn how to adapt their standard massage to include usage of the stones.

Students attend on two days. Day 1 covers the theoretical aspects and practical skills. They then spend six weeks carrying out practice, Case Studies and six Assessments before returning for Day 2 when they complete a General Assessment, then demonstrate to the Tutor their practical skills by carrying out a full body Hot Stone Massage.
