Yogic Meditation and Pranayama 8 Week Course

Kilmarnock, Ayrshire

What will I learn on this course?
You will learn to use pranayama (yogic breath control) to bring the mind, body and spirit into balance. The therapist teaches specific breaths to which bring the brain and subtle energy currents (nadis) of the bodies into balance. Each week , you will learn about your psychic anatomy and the chakra system and how to balance and energise each chakra using a specific meditation.

You will learn how to set up and maintain your own meditation practice. Week on week, your skills and inner awareness will grow as well as your control of mind and thoughts. The benefits of meditation are inner clarity, inner peace, noticeably less ‘reaction’ to circumstances and development of an inner wisdom.

Each session is 2 hours, which allows time for discussion, practise and feedback of the breath and meditation in focus.

Testimonials

‘ I left medication for meditation. A great way to discover the benefits of stillness.’ Amanada
‘My life is totally transformed and meditation is now a huge part of my life.’ Alice

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME) Coaching

The therapist, Jenny, has herself recovered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. She understands the energy sensitivities of the condition and has devised a whole person approach to wellness.  As each person’s journey is unique, the therapist uses a range of tips and tools, tailored to the patient as he/she recovers.

What happens in a therapy session?

In discussion with the patient, the therapist will devise a staged plan for recovery and healing through learning a self-healing meditation, breathing techniques, positive thinking, healing affirmation and dietary considerations.  Individual sensitivities are also discussed, such as sensitivity to sound, light, others’ energy fields and electromagnetic field of electrical appliances, and ways of coping with or minimising these.  The therapist will also apply Spiritual Healing and teach the patient how to use hands-on healing with his/herself.
Thought is very powerful.  The patient will learn how to control inner dialogue to be positive, using affirmation, daily personal introspection and strategic use of affirmation to halt any negative thought flow. The patient will leave in a positive frame of mind with a written plan detailing  practical tips and approaches to try at home, unique to each patient.
